About Us

For those who don’t know, we (Craig and Carrie) started Mobibod, formerly Recharge Class, almost 11 years ago. Not that long after we met each other really. We started as a group massage class, and a couple of years into it, realised that we should focus on the tools!

Over the past 11 years we have scrutinized datasheets and tested many prototypes to make the best tools from the best materials. The science and engineering behind Mobibod means we go further to understand how our bodies move and help you get the most from our tools and techniques.

Our Mobibod team are a multi-talented bunch! In every Mobibod tool is the experience and expertise of our:

  • Endurance athletes
  • Pilates instructors
  • Biomedical product engineers, and
  • Clinical biomedical researchers

  • Carrie Newbold

    Carrie is a clinical Research Fellow, remedial massage therapist and Pilates instructor.
    One of the co-founders of Mobibod, Carrie has worked hard over the past 10 years to integrate remedial massage and pilates principles into Mobibod tools and techniques!

  • Craig Lewis

    One of the co-founders of Mobibod, Craig has a background in engineering, Ironman triathlons and Pilates.
    Craig has used his experience in engineering to develop and fine-tune the biomedically engineered design of Mobibod products.

  • Hannah McIntosh

    Hannah is our resident legal professional who loves to dance ballet in her spare time.
    Hannah is a passionate advocate for injury prevention and rehabilitation and is looking forward to growing the Mobibod brand.

  • Alex Verrills

    Alex has a background in commerce and marketing, with extensive experience in the operation of health services.
    Alex loves watching and playing sport in his spare time and particularly enjoys tennis, soccer, European handball and the NRL.

  • Aine Fitzpatrick

    Aine is a competitive and professional Irish dancer with a background in health research and psychology.
    Aine enjoys pilates, dancing and yoga in her spare time, and has a particular interest in providing relief for sports related injuries and chronic pain.
